Your NortonLive expert will:

  1. Set up your NortonLive Easy Support tool to run regular health scans and fixes.
  2. Provide ongoing PC tune-ups.
  3. Remove viruses, spyware, and other threats.
  4. Install and set up your Norton AntiVirus software.
  5. Install or set up new peripherals and digital devices (printer, scanner, MP3 player, digital camera).
  6. Repair peripheral and device driver conflicts.
  7. Provide smart phone support, including setting up computer software and synchronizing your phone with your PC or Mac.
  8. Set up file and printer sharing over your existing network (the includes allowing data to be shared over a shared network and setting up network printers).
  9. Ensure that your Microsoft® Office applications (Word®, Excel®, PowerPoint®) launch and run correctly.
  10. Ensure that iLife and iWork applications launch and run correctly.
  11. Ensure that your Microsoft Outlook®, Outlook Express, Microsoft Mail, Microsoft Entourage, Windows Mail or Mac Mail launch and run correctly and that you can send and receive email (you'll need Internet access and your login/password information).
  12. Create additional accounts.
  13. Set up, configure, and provide support for Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later or Firefox version 2 or later web browsers (other browsers may not be supported).

System Requirements:

Here’s what you’ll need to use Ultimate Help Desk

  • Microsoft® Windows® XP, Microsoft Vista®, Microsoft Windows 7® or Mac OS 10.5 and above
  • Customer must have valid Microsoft Office, iWork, iLive or Norton software for support of those applications.
  • High-speed Internet access and be able to connect to the Internet
  • Administrator level access to the computer you'd like help with
  • Your operating system and/or Internet Service Provider (ISP) passwords
  • At least 256 MB of RAM for basic service. If you're having software installed, you will need to meet the software manufacturers minimum system requirements
  • Be able to boot to your desktop and connect to the Internet through your highspeed Internet connection
  • Valid licenses for any Norton, Microsoft or Mac software you request help with
  • If you need help setting up a peripheral (printer, digital camera, scanner, digital music player, etc.):
    - The peripheral should be in good working order
    - Have your peripheral out of the box with all necessary cables, parts, and accessories handy

  • Any operating system other than Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows Vista, Microsoft Windows 7 or Mac OS 10.5 and above (We do not support Linux, or older versions of Microsoft Windows)
