script

A type of program that consists of a set of instructions for an application. A script usually consists of instructions that are expressed using the application's rules and syntax, combined with simple control structures. pcAnywhere source scripts have .scr extensions; compiled, executable pcAnywhere scripts have .scx extensions.

A file, containing one or more commands that can be run to perform processing.
