solution plug-in

A piece of software that resides on a managed computer and adds functionality to the Altiris Agent. A plug-in provides specific functions for the solution with which it is associated. For example, the Inventory Solution plug-in collects inventory information from a managed computer. A managed computer can host multiple plug-ins.
