Android.Machinleak is a Trojan horse for Android devices that steals information from the compromised device.

The Trojan may arrive as a package with the following characteristics:

Package name: com.yumakichi.realchatapp
Name: Real [JAPANESE CHARACTERS]

Permissions
When the Trojan is being installed, it requests permissions to perform the following actions:
  • Open network connections
  • Access information about networks
  • Check the phone's current state
  • Access location information, such as GPS information
  • Access location information, such as Cell-ID or WiFi
  • Make the phone vibrate

Installation
Once installed, the application will display a brown icon with a green and gray speech bubble with the letter R in it.
