The part of a network that is administrated by an ESM Console user. An ESM region can contain Managers, domains, Agents, security policies, and a summary database that contains the results of ESM policy runs.

In Symantec Incident Manager, a number between 1 and 5 (inclusive) that rates the overall system impact and certainty that are associated with the incident. 5 is the most serious severity. See also incident.
