Behavior

Android.Smbcheck is a hacktool for Android devices that can trigger a Server Message Block version 2 (SMBv2) vulnerability and may cause the target computer to crash.

The Trojan may arrive as a package with the following characteristics:

Package name: com.sinister.smbcheck
Name: SMBCheck

Permissions
When the program is being installed, it requests permissions to perform the following action:
Open network connections


Installation
Once installed, the application will display an icon with "SMB check" in red and gray text on a white and gray 3D-effect square.
