- Mimic - Proprietary, secure, high-speed protocol developed by Norton experts. Mimic is designed to make it appear that you are not using a VPN at all, navigating around firewall restrictions. Our patented encryption technology also makes it withstand potential cyberattacks from quantum computers.
- WireGuard - Modern, open-source protocol known for its speed and simplicity. Utilising advanced cryptography, it offers secure connections with improved performance.
- OpenVPN (Windows,Android) – The most established, open-source protocol renowned for its maturity and compatibility with a wide-range of platforms.
- IPsec (Mac, iOS) – Developed as an Internet standard protocol, to ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity when accessing public networks. Most operating systems already natively support this protocol.
Norton VPN plans offer more server locations, including city-level, for faster connections and content access. They also include Smart TV apps for smoother streaming and advanced servers for extra privacy. Moreover, they feature Ad Blocker, more Auto-Connect options, or manual protocol selection.
