Norton 360 Deluxe named among best software products by USA Today
In its list of best tech products of 2026, USA Today named Norton 360 Deluxe among the best software products, helping cement its position as a top choice for consumers seeking comprehensive digital security. The award reflects Norton 360 Deluxe’s robust performance and feature set, including real-time protection against scams and malware, an unlimited VPN, smart firewall, and parental controls.
What it took to make the list of the best software
The USA Today Tech Awards were developed through a multistep editorial review process led by veteran tech journalist Marc Saltzman. His recommendations, based on deep industry experience, were then reviewed by the editorial team, including a rankings editor, to determine which products met the criteria for recognition and award designation.
Brands were also invited to submit products for consideration, but all submissions were independently evaluated by Saltzman to ensure they were worthy of inclusion. Crucially, Norton did not nominate itself: Norton 360 Deluxe was independently selected by Saltzman for inclusion based on his editorial review.
Final selections were made through an editorial review process, with award recipients chosen based on performance, design, ingenuity, and reliability. Editorial decisions remained independent.
“This comprehensive cybersecurity suite protects up to five cross-platform devices (Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android), combining standard antivirus with an unlimited VPN (to browse the web anonymously), a password manager, 50GB cloud backup, a smart firewall, and dark web alerts. Just as critical, Norton 360 Deluxe features advanced AI scam protection (to flag suspicious content and/or activity) and robust parental controls (to manage children’s screen time and web safety).”
