Crissy Joshua is a staff cybersecurity editor at Gen. She began her tech career over a decade ago, writing how-to guides on device performance and optimization. Her focus has now widened into emerging digital threats, such as malvertising and online scams, with a commitment to helping people understand the forces shaping their digital lives. When not at her desk, you’ll find Crissy whipping up something delicious, walking her dog, or at the beach with a good book.

Crissy holds a BA from Queensland University of Technology. She also achieved certificates in Fundamentals of Cybersecurity and Introduction to Personal Digital Security from Codecademy.
